Current Issues in the Turkic World: Regional Balance of Power and Organization of Turkic States Student Workshop

In cooperation with the Yalova University Department of International Relations, Department of Political Science and Public Administration, International Relations Society, and Turkic World Youth Club, our students participated in the “Current Issues in the Turkic World: Regional Balance of Power and Organization of Turkic States Student Workshop,” organized by the Kütahya Dumlupınar University Global Diplomacy Society.

Our International Relations students Bertan ÜNAL and Derya Umut YILGIN, along with Political Science and Public Administration students Berfin ÖZBEY and Özlem ALTUN, contributed to the workshop by presenting their papers.

As part of the program, our students presented papers on the following topics:

• The Impact of Economic Cooperation and Integration on the Balance of Power
• Security Dynamics across Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Anatolia
• Political and Dynamic Coordination among Member States of the Organization of Turkic States
• Geopolitical Position and the Changing Regional Balance of Power

Through their presentations, our students represented Yalova University under the coordination and moderation of Prof. Dr. Asım Nasıbayeva HEKİMOĞLU and Prof. Dr. Süleyman KIZILTOPRAK from Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Research Assistant Dr. Durukan AYAN from Afyon Kocatepe University, and our academic advisor Assistant Professor Seçkin ARPALIER from Yalova University.
